Bonjour!! Thius year, I have read a lot of books. It was hard to choose the best books that I have read but I fanally came to a decision.

Cirque du Freak by Darren Shan

          This book is really good. It is the first book of the series. I really liked this book because it had a really good plot. It was really interesting and cool.

Holes by Louis Sachar

          I really liked this book. It was funny, interesting and great. My  favourite author is Louis Sachar and Holes is one of his best selling books.

Today was the School Speech Competition. It was really good and everyone did really good. The Year 8s did really great but guess what....... I WON!!!! I can't believe that I won!!! I nearly cried. I'm so happy right now. =D

Guess what just happened like literally 5 minutes ago, Ms. Bolger just told the class who got in to the School Speech Competition and guess what... I GOT IN!! I got 53.5 points out of 60. I am so excited because last year I got in to the School Speech Competition and came 3rd. Well 2nd because it was a tie for 1st. This time it is the year of the Filipinos. My topic is something about Filipinos and I'm a Filipino so that means I am going to win!!!

Dear Journal...

Ni Hao!! I can't believe that I only have less than 3 weeks of primary school remaning!! I am so nervous about going to college but at the same time so excited about it. The remaining weeks of primary school will be so fun but will be also packed with activities. Even though I am excited about going to college next year, I am really going to miss St. Bens. I will miss the easy homework, technology and playing games with my friends during lunchtime. I know that some people miss different things when they leave primary school, but one of the things that I will miss are the teachers. Yes the teachers. Will you miss the teachers when you leave to go to college?

Greetings human beings!! Today I presented my speech to the class. I was soooooo nervous but at the end I was very proud of myself. I think people liked my speech and I think that I have a shot on going to the School Speech Competition. Well, that's basically it, wish me luck everyone!!
